ALWAYS MOVING FORWARD
My own little slice of Missouri heaven
ABOUT JUDY
I come from a large and loving family, the second youngest of eight. My dad dropped out of school in 8th grade when his father became ill, helping his mother support his seven younger siblings. He later went on to serve in WWII along with his two brothers.
After the war, he became an electrician, raising his family along with my mom as best as he could. They were able to afford a small house, with my dad building on additions as the years and kids came along.
Though money was tight, we never wanted for anything.
He taught me to work hard and to go after my dreams.
And I did.
WORK HARD, DREAM BIG
I became a wife, the mother of two daughters and one son while beginning my career in banking.
I was hired as a teller and eventually made my way from Student Loan Officer, to Junior Loan Officer, to Assistant Vice President, and retired as a Vice President.
The best part of my job was helping make the lives and dreams of others possible.
Life threw me some curve balls as it does us all, yet I discovered that I have a strength within me.
I retired to the rolling hills of North Central Missouri. Here I found the joy of gardening, both for flowers, which feed my soul, and for food, which nourishes my body.
I enjoy spending time with my adult children and my beloved grandson and granddaughter.
Family is deeply important to me.
BUILDING THE WAY FORWARD
I am in this race to become the 12th District Senator.
Not because I am a politician. Not to seek power or wealth.
I’m running because Missouri belongs to its people.
Ordinary folks like, you and me, who have the courage to step up and do what’s right,
for all the citizens that live, work, and dream here.
