THE WAY FORWARD

Hi, I’m Judy McNeece

I’m running to be your State Senator in District 12 because I believe that Missouri needs a new Way Forward.

One in which the needs of the many are prioritized, rather than interests of those in power.

Missouri belongs to its people, not beholden to the whims of its politicians

I believe this work starts with deeply listening to one another

The Way Forward is to elect regular people, not politicians, who will listen and work for the people of Missouri.

Like most Missourians, I feel that the State Legislature does not see or hear me.

The concerns we Missourians share are not the ones that the legislature believes are worthy of their attention. Healthcare, public education, and the cost of living in rural Missouri are all issues being ignored by those who were elected to represent us.

I decided to run for State Senate District 12 because I believe voters deserve representatives who strive to make life better for their constituents.

The state of Missouri cannot continue serving only the needs of the wealthy while cutting services for the public good.

I plan to fight in Jefferson City for the needs of ordinary Missourians.

Because your concerns are my concerns.

I’ve been traveling all around the 12th District and I’ve heard the ways folks are just barely getting by.

How our senior centers are struggling to make ends meet due to not receiving the funds they were promised in a timely manner. Ensuring that these community resources keep their doors open and the ability to provide nutritious meals for seniors is critical.

Over and over people expressed to me their disappointment that electing a former educator didn’t translate into strong support for public schools or increased funding. How our schools are still not receiving adequate funding.

One woman I met in Savannah told me about her difficulties accessing appropriate healthcare near her, how she has to routinely cross state lines to get support for her rare condition. Quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare should be closer to home for Missourians. Another person told me that though he may have been a lifelong Republican, expanding Medicaid access saved his life.

These aren’t just stories, these are the realities that Missourians in the 12th District are facing. Politics as usual is failing us and we need a new way forward.

I am not a politician.

I’m a grandmother.

I am not wealthy.

I live on a fixed income
